Envision Consulting's 2017 Year in Review

2017 was a year of big things for Envision Consulting. We kicked off the year in our new office in Pasadena with two new staff (bringing our team to six!), a new website, and tons of energy for bringing inspired leadership to nonprofit organizations.

We’re proud to share some of our 2017 highlights that showcase our work building leaders and organizations that are making incredible contributions in our community:

This is why we do what we do. Our amazing clients represent a wide range of causes, communities served, organizational sizes, and phases of growth.

297 board members surveyed

We gather insights from board members for all of our projects, from executive search to strategy. We believe strongly that all engagements must start by listening.

14 diversity and inclusion events hosted

We’ve been walking and talking the importance of diversity and inclusion in the nonprofit sector for years, so we were thrilled that in 2017 more nonprofits than ever joined the conversation about how to build a diverse and inclusive culture, hire people with different perspectives, and build talent across organizations.

1,332 applications received

We are committed to finding the best of the best talent for our clients. And we ask a lot of our candidates, starting with an application that includes multiple essay questions.

243 in-person interviews conducted

Applications, resumes and cover letters are only part of the story. We invest a great deal of time and focus getting to know our top candidates through in-person interviews with two of our staff for at least one hour.

16 searches completed

Most of our searches are for Executive Directors/CEOs, but in 2017 we also placed Development Directors, a Chief Administrative Officer, a Chief Program Officer and more. Our consistent, data-driven process is a finely tuned machine.

21 board/staff retreats facilitated

We don’t make you do trust falls, but we do help you build a stronger team, learn critical skills like fundraising, discuss major issues and make decisions. And we are adamant that clear action steps come out of every retreat.

200 hours of training and facilitation delivered

Our small and large group trainings and facilitations help you gain knowledge, learn best practices, navigate tough topics and build capacity for your organization and the sector overall.

15 plans & assessments produced

We love a big, juicy strategic challenge. We help you answer questions, figure out options, and move forward with confidence.

60 hours of coaching provided
